Last updated 19 October 2026. This covers the website and the live demo. It doesn't cover the command-line tool. That runs on your own machine with your own API key and sends nothing to us.
We collect user data
We collect user data when you use the live demo. Here's exactly what, and why.
- The text you type into the demo. The contact, angle, and touch you pick, plus the hook if you write one. We use it to build the draft you asked for. We don't store it in a database.
- Your IP address. We use it to limit the demo to a few drafts per hour per visitor, so the API key behind it doesn't get drained. The counters live in the server's memory and reset when the server restarts.
- Server logs. The API logs which contact, angle, and touch were drafted and how long it took. It doesn't log the hook you typed, the draft, or the API key. The hosting providers below keep their own request logs, which include your IP address and the pages you asked for.
There are no cookies, analytics scripts, or ad trackers on this site.
We use AI
The live demo uses a large language model to write the draft. When you click Draft, the text you typed, the sample contact's details, and the demo voice profile go to Anthropic, the company behind the Claude API. Anthropic handles that data under its own terms and privacy policy. Please don't type personal details about yourself or anyone else into the demo.
Before anything goes to the model, the demo also checks your text for signs of a personal crisis. If it finds any, it skips the draft and shows a message with support resources instead.
Who else gets your data
- Anthropic: gets the demo inputs listed above and writes the draft.
- Railway: hosts the demo API. It sees your API requests, including your IP address, and keeps request logs.
- Vercel: hosts this website. It sees your page requests, including your IP address, and keeps request logs.
- Google Fonts: the fonts on this site load from Google, which gets your IP address when your browser fetches them.
- GitHub: hosts the source code. The repo links on this site take you to GitHub, which has its own privacy policy.
What we don't do
- We don't send email. The demo hands the draft back to your browser and stops.
- We don't sell your data or share it for ads.
- We don't build profiles of visitors.
How long we keep things
Demo inputs are handled in memory and thrown away once the draft is returned. Rate-limit counters stay in server memory for a day at most. The hosting providers keep their logs for as long as their own policies say. If you want something about you removed, or have a question about this policy, open an issue on the GitHub repository or reach the maintainer through the profile linked there.
Changes
If this policy changes, so will the date at the top.
